Pirates of the Caribbean star

Pirates of the Caribbean star johnny depp and here I carry on by adding Pirates of the caribbean stardarker tones to his neck, the mouth area is further developed by adding an highlight to the top and bottom of the lips.

The features are further developed especially the nose area and the eye shapes have been made darker, in the photo the eye areas are very dark. Notice the hard edge of the hair at the left side of the eye and then further down this hairline gets softer thereby giving contrast of line.

Tints of blue are added into the hair which are hard to see here but this also gives contrast and vibrancy of colour. Thicker highlights are added into the hair plattes and I have also started to put in the ornamental items that are characteristic of this pirates of the caribbean star.

His shirt colour goes in now using a mixture of colbalt blue, alizarin crimson and a touch of raw sienna.

The face and features are getting more developed here with the cornea's of the eyes and eyeballs put in and they will be touched up more accurately later. It is best to work all over the portrait rather than finishing one area at a time to keep everything going at once.

The red scarf and beads go in which are characteristic of this Caribbean actor and at this point I am trying to get more of a likeness.
