Painting form in hair

Detail to his shirt and jacket are added and here I paint in a few creases of the jacket.

More form to his hair is added here being careful not to touch the ear.

Different colours and tones are added to the background which gives variety and vitality to both background and the sitter.

The finished painting and you can see a bright red accent to his vest he is wearing which brings you to his face.
