 | Finishing and highlights now and I have added small details like a highlight or two on the eyebrow, the wrinkles of the forehead and the right eye and cheeks with white pastel and developing underneath the eyes more which gives her character. |

 | The darks I put in on the right cheek are now made softer so there isn't an hard line here, more darks have been added to the top lip to give it a bit more form and shape. Character marks like the area just above the top lip and to the right of it have been drawn in, the crease down the right side of the nose and down the cheek have also been drawn in. A small shadow area on the right lapel of her nose for the stud has been added. | |||||||
 | Here I have finished the portrait by adding a highlight to the stud in her nose, tones and shading have been added to the shawl with highlights taken out with the putty rubber. All in all the portrait has loads of character and a variety of tonal shading which is what I was aiming for here....We hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. | |||||||
