Drawing Antique cars and here I finish off the car, everything is in place although
the
front
plane (Radiator) of the car doesn't look vertical enough but I will correct
this as I go on.

I use a conte crayon to lighten some of the darks where I feel and see
they are needed, here the rim of the wheel.

Everything is there, the perspective is there, the angles are there, you
can imagine it being on a road but......

Without the road it would look like it is stranded in mid air so the
shadows go in and now you can see the car actually standing on something.
The finished car and the conte crayon I used earlier was to lighten the
charcoal to a certain degree to obtain middle tones. I
used a white pastel for the the highest highlights like in the headlamps and
wheel guards. I left the registration plates blank for obvious reasons
although I could have suggested lettering. Buy the
