Colour in painting

Here it is all colour from now on and this is a subject where you can enjoy yourself with colour.

In go the ribbons and feathers.

The left eye goes in making sure that both eyes look correct.

A bright red goes in for more feathers and ribbons all wet in wet.

Form is added to the cheek area with a cadmium red.

A darker blue area is added under the nose on top of the underlying colour.

The finished painting of a red Indian.
