The Bronte country walk is a lovely but quite hard walk, but it is very enjoyable and when I have the time I go for long walks in the countryside, more especially on hilly countryside like the Yorkshire dales or the lake district. I have only recently taken up walking and haven't walked at any of the above named places because they are so far away from where I live so I go to places where there is similar countryside.

I went on the Bronte walk at Howarth which is fairly close to where I live and the walk is around seven miles long which I found exhilarating, the higher up I got the better I felt. It is a beautiful walk just getting to the waterfalls but it was quite hard walking up to top withens where presumably Emily Bronte wrote or got the idea to write Wuthering heights

Top withens: is a lovely view looking over the moors and it is also a great place to take photographs and see birds.
